We Care Act is developing its scholarship and workshop programs to assist students in need around the world, in accordance with region-specific needs.

We Care Act's first model of the scholarship and workshop programs was developed and used in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China, to great success (see below for details). In the future, We Care Act will further improve these programs and implement them in other areas of China and around the world as needed.

English Workshop - Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China

July 26 - 28, 2010

During this greatly successful workshop, twenty three students from Dujiangyan Qingcheng Mountain High School and other schools in the Dujiangyan area participated in various activities, including English writing and communication. The founders of We Care Act brought scholarship money and award certificates to 8 selected high school students, as well as books, magazines, and wristbands for all of the students. At the workshop, We Care Act presented its key ideas and morals, resulting in an enormous response from participants: almost all the workshop participants joined We Care Act as team leaders. These enterprising students decided to help others in need as a way of showing their gratitude for the aid received after the catastrophic Sichuan earthquake.
