Help students in Dujiangyan, Sichuan, China ($35-$1150)
You can craft your own project to support 10 students for one year with books and supplies ($350) or support one to five students for a year on tuition, books, supplies, and some other general needs ($230-$1150).
By donating or raising $230, you can help one student for a year on tuition, books, supplies, and other necessary items.
By donating or raising $200, you can help one student for a year on tuition, books, and supplies.
Tuition or books and /supplies for one semester or one year:
Text books and supplies: ~$35/semester/student
- Help Hurricane Ike victims in Galveston, Texas, US. ($200-$1000)
Some schools are still closed due to Hurricane Ike (September 2009) damage, and libraries in other schools are not fully equipped.
New reading rugs are needed (~$500 per library)
Reading beanbags are needed (~$200 per library)
Cash donation or gift cards ($200-$1000) to book vendors (such as Follett) are helpful, so the librarians can buy the newest library quality bound books.
Scholarship for Students in China ($150-$600)
Scholarships to outstanding and in need students in Sichuan and other areas of China $85/scholarship, and we usually distribute 2-8 scholarships per school.
