Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Grace is a senior at Glenda Dawson High School in Pearland, TX and is currently enrolled in her school's most demanding courses. She has a passion for community service, writing, and science. Among her many achievements, Grace won the Harris Wofford Youth Award in 2010 (Youth Service America) and was named to the All-America Service Team in 2011 (GenerationOn and PARADE Magazine). She is also a two-year Gold Medalist in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Competition. Grace’s extraordinary drive provides direction and vision for We Care Act, helping the organization evolve and expand, and she devotes herself to coordinating projects, recruiting team leaders, and involving youth in community service.
Sharon is a sophomore at Glenda Dawson High School. She is extremely interactive with exceptional leadership abilities, and these strengths have aided her successes, including winning the Nicholas Green Distinguished Student Award in 2009 and serving as the Texas Winner of the Prudential Spirit of Community Service Award in 2011. Sharon’s talent in writing and creativity enable her to bring the organization to a higher level, and her dedication to We Care Act has manifested itself in her communication with other organizations, creation of newsletters/publications, and implementation of workshops.
Founder, Vice President
Eric Li, a sixth grader at GT Academy at Sablatura, loves math and science. His science team at Massey Ranch won the Exploravision Science Competition Honorable Mention Award in 2010 for their space shuttle design to destroy space junk. Though young, he has organized numerous fundraising activities in and out of school, established recycling program at his family and for We Care Act, and recruited many team leaders for the organization. With a scientist’s mind, Eric looks for ways to improve the planet (through recycling and energy saving) and in the mean time helps We Care Act’s fundraising programs. In Eric's spare time, he likes making paper airplanes, drawing battleships, and playing chess games.
Director of Technology & Team Leader for Special Need Children’s Support
Daniel is a junior in Math, Science and Computer Science Magnet Program of Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring, Maryland. Daniel is currently enrolled in the much challenged math and science classes in the Magnet Program. His talent on computer science has been great assets for We Care Act. Daniel is the webmaster of We Care Act. Other than the academic achievements, Daniel has a great passion for serving the special need children through raising funds for Autism Research, organizing teams for supporting the Autism Awareness, and also taking many hours to actually hands on helping the special needed children. For past years, Daniel also has been involved in helping We Care Act to raise funds for disaster victims.
B.A. Education Program Manager (China)
Linxiao is an English teacher in Qingcheng Mountain High School, Dujiangyan, Sichuan. Linxiao and her students experienced the devastating earthquake in 2008 and have gone through the tough rebuilding process firsthand. Since 2009, Linxiao has been working with We Care Act to help the students in Dujiangyan in various areas, including improving the students’ English and empowering them with tools to help others, as part of We Care Act's goal to help "pay it forward," an idea that was in fact sparked by Linxiao and her students.
